Just wondering if any other fellow gmail users have been having problems using their email lately? I've noticed that they've upgraded and changed a few things, which (IMO) make it even slower than it was before. This evening, I was writing an email when I saved the draft so I could go and do something else. When I went back to the draft, the email displayed but there was nothing there- as in, a blank page! I seem to have lost everything I wrote!! Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, how did you get your draft back? Or am I just going to have to start the damn thing all over again?!

I like to think it's fact. The truth probably is closer to lust or a 'spark' of attraction but to think it's love is romantic.

Never tried it and I guess it's one of those things you can/can't believe in until you do try it so...

Fact. I love the idea that you can live more than once, maybe the same person you are now, maybe different. It's a fascinating idea that your soul can move from one being to another.

Fact. Death just seems so final that I think there must be something out there waiting for us- to not 'be' or think is a scary thought. Perhaps I just believe in it for comfort??!

Why not?? Just because a lot of people haven't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist...

1. If you had the ability to legally change your name, would you? To what?
I think if I'd been asked this question a few years ago then I would definitely have wanted to change my name. But lately I have become more confident in myself and don't feel the need to change it!! Anywho, the name I always liked was Joanna, or Jo. It always seemed so cool :D

2. What do you with with change that you receive from banks/purchases/find on the ground?
Depends how much change we're talking. I'm guessing we mean coins. I save up small change until I've got a reasonable amount and can exchange it for cash. I tend not to pick money up in the street... although I am guilty of having found £10 ($20) and keeping it...

3. If you could travel back in time to change the course of one historical event, what event would it be?
I am so fascinated by history. I think I would probably most like to go back and actually experience an event, rather than change it. Things that happened in the past shape how we are today, although that's not to say I agree with it all!

4. Would you rather live a safe, stable, moderately interesting life or one where every day was dangerous, volatile, and different?
Funnily enough, I was thinking just today about how routine my life is. I get up, I go to work, I come home, I study, I speak on the phone to my friend, I come online and I go to bed... and then it starts again. While I have to go to work, and I have to study, I think I could be less predictable in what I do. I'll still study in the evenings, but maybe I won't be so hard on myself if I miss an evening, like I have done today. And I'll sit down and actually read a book once in a while instead of only on my lunch break. While i know this isn't dangerous and volatile, it's a change for the better I think. I'm working on the dangerous and volatile, LOL :D I think the key is to be spontaneous. It's my new word.

5. What do you think you'll be remembered for when you die and, if you could, would you change it to something else?
LOL call me morbid but I actually have my epitaph already planned out in my head. It will read either "She tried" or "She got there in the end." So basically I'll be remembered for my extremely odd sense of humour!!! And that's fine with me.

1. What song frequently gets stuck in your head?
Mika's highly annoying, very bad, very rubbish "I could be brown, I could be blue..." That probably isn't the right name of the song.

This is a good question! I could think of several... probably whole songs rather than lines... but they're not really a summary of my life, more like a summary of certain times in my life.


3. Do you have one all-time favorite song (if so, what is it?) or do you skip around?
Ummm... well not really. I sort of drift from song to song, liking different bands at different times (sort of like phases.)


4. How do you listen to music most often (pod, radio, etc)?
iPod, although I've just had to re-sync it with a new laptop and lost EVERYTHING.

5. American Idol: fantastic show or overrated?
Overrated!!

But not the conventional sort.
Three days ago I was so so hot that I was thinking of putting my winter clothes away for the summer. Today....

It's snowing!!!!!!!!!

Three and a half months late for Christmas, and 2 weeks late for Easter, but it's here. It's not sticking and it probably will have stopped by tomorrow... it's insane. I can't believe it! :D

I thought of something to bore you with :D

Last night my laptop died again. I don't think I'm going to bother getting it fixed, as this is the second time in not very many months. I had a feeling it was going to do it because it was being slow, losing internet connection, crashing and making weird noises. I had just finished typing up my assignment when it decided that actually, it didn't really want to play any more (this was just after I posted to my journal last night.) Luckily I have my assignment on paper so I'm in work now typing it up.

I don't know when I'll be back :( I won't be around all weekend, that's for definite. I'm going to have to buy a new laptop me thinks and I'm not sure when that will be. Hopefully not too long, as I do need to be back up and running by the time I have to do my next assignment!

Just a lil update on House- I miss them!! I miss the ducklings! Even Chase!!! :( :( It's only been 2 eps and I hate CTB and 13 and all of them- GO AWAY YOU HORRIBLE AWFUL PEOPLE AND BRING BACK THE DUCKLINGS *insert major sad face here* I felt all sad when I heard Chase's voice... and Foreman... I love Foreman...

OK, I just needed to get that out of my system!

I'll be back as soon as I can. I am going to miss everyone :( Bet you won't miss me and my updates :D Lol, who knows, by the time I'm back maybe there will actually be something to report ;)

I found out YESTERDAY that the new season of House started on THURSDAY. So basically I missed the first eppy.

One is not amused.

One year and about 3 days ago.

I was looking on google for 24 related sites and stumbled across an LJ community based on the show.

3. If someone introduced you to LJ, is s/he still on your friends list?
No I found it myself.

4. Have you introduced anyone to LJ?
No.

5. Is your LJ public or friends only, and why?
Both, although it's becoming more friends only these days. Certain posts are public but it's mostly private. Why? I think because I've always been a bit wary about writing my thoughts down for any old person to read, plus photos are private for obvious reasons.

Today is my one year anniversary since joining LJ!!! :D I think I have grown progressively more insane as time has gone on, but it's all worth it!
